Residents at Moat House Care Home recently enjoyed a taste of Germany as we celebrated our very own Oktoberfest, with an afternoon of food, beer tasting, music and dancing.
Our celebrations brought a little of this 200 year old tradition to Moat House, giving residents the chance to enjoy something different, listen to music and get involved in the festivities. There was plenty of opportunity to join in with dancing, share a laugh and spend time together.

We rounded off the afternoon with an Oktoberfest-themed quiz, putting residents' knowledge to the test and adding a little friendly competition to the day.
Events like these are an important part of life at Moat House, offering residents opportunities to socialise, explore different interests and enjoy shared experiences. Whether joining in with music and dancing or testing their knowledge in a quiz, residents can take part in ways that suit them.
Our Oktoberfest celebration was a lovely opportunity to come together, learn about another country's traditions and enjoy an afternoon filled with good company and fun.
